Ok Year 12.  We need to do some serious work on your case studies.  Well done those of you who have thoroughly researched your films, and can clearly apply this research to any question.  I was impressed with the depth of knowledge shown by some of you.  However, some people have clearly done nothing outside of lessons, and some people didn't even use the research I have seen!!!!!

SECTION B OF THE EXAM IS ABOUT THREE FILMS YOU HAVE STUDIED.

Remembering this is imperative for your studies. 

Strengths of the answers included:

Matt's studies of the representation of Time in his films.  Perhaps the most clearly structured essay that I read, it showed an interest in what he was studying and he developed his answer well.  He had researched and remembered things to include.

Sophie Cockett - the depth of her answer was great, and she had included lots of very specific examples, like quotes from youtube and fan forums. 

Sophie Jones.  Apart from time constraints, Sophie's answer was shaping up nicely.  She has also done her research and this shows.

Amy Hines - another well structured response that showed independent research.

Active research is important from now on, and I would advise finding something about your film each day.
